Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich landed a six-figure tell-all book deal (http://timelines.com/2009/3/2/rod-blagojevich-s..., but legislators are on their way to making sure that he doesn't see a dime from it.
The state Senate on Thursday sent legislation to Gov. Pat Quinn that would prevent elected officials from profiting from their misdeeds that had them convicted. It includes any monetary rights derived from any book, movie, TV, radio program or Internet depiction or detailing of the crime for which he or she was convicted.
